To process and administer commercial loans

Essential Functions & Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Maintain, organize and update Member Business Lending files.
  • Examines loan applications and closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provides general administrative assistance to Business Loan Officer.
  • Ensures lien perfection through timely recording/filing with appropriated agencies, updates and maintains insurance and UCC filings.
  • Assist members with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
  • Track and follow up on loan covenants and obtain necessary information to ensure that member is in compliance with loan terms and conditions. Maintains tickler system and performs follow up.
  • Assists in developing internal procedures integral to meeting and safety and soundness requirements.
  • Closes out paid off files and prepares collateral release documentation. Files releases with appropriate agencies.
  • Responsible for processing Adverse Action letters.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Experience:                   Three to five years of similar or related experience.

Education:                    (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study      at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive          in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills:      A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal                  courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or        is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or              influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound              relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes                  necessary.
