To assist with processing, administering and report of: Commercial, Mortgage and Consumer Loans.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, organize and update Member Business Lending files.
  • Receive, log and schedule appointments and closings for members.
  • Obtain information related to loan origination process and submission. Assist in the preparation of prefunding, checklist and other communications necessary to properly submit loan package.
  • Examines loan applications and closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provides general administrative assistance as directed by CLO.
  • Maintain collateral and credit files to ensure lien perfection through timely recording/filings with appropriated agencies, update and maintain insurance and UCC filings, exceptions, and updated annual financials, etc.
  • Track and follow up on loan covenants and obtain necessary information to ensure the member is in compliance with loan terms and conditions. Maintain tickler system and perform follow up.
  • Assist member with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
  • Assists in developing internal procedures integral to meeting and safety and soundness requirements.
  • Closes out paid off files and prepares collateral release documentation. Release files with appropriate agencies.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Experience:                   Two to five years of similar or related experience.

Education:                     (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills:       A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
